DEMO REEL - SPRING 2008

3d Animation and Character Work

Please be patient while the movie loads. It is a 3.3 Mb Quicktime movie.

The first project shown is RoboSnow for Metaversatility. I made the robots for this game demo on the multiverse platform. There were three variations on the robots and I did everything from concept art, modeling, texturing, rigging & animation.

The second sequence showcases work I did for my character animation class at NYU's school of continuing studies. I DID NOT model or rig 'Package Man', the pre-rigged character I used for my animations. However, I do know enough to do the modelign and rigging for such a character if need be.

The Third Sequence is work I did for Novamente, an AI company that was working on AI for virtual pets. I modeled, textured, rigging, animated and exported the chihuahua in my demo. We had 5 different textures and 13 different animations for their demo on the multiverse platform.

The last project on this demo was done for ABC News. It shows the spaces that can form to protect survivors during an earthquake. This was animated in Maya over a few days using some pre-made models and textures and the dynamics system in Maya. I setup the scene, modeled all the pieces for the dynamics and set that up as well as all the lighting, texturing and rendering. Shaky camera and debris was added in post-production with After FX and ParticleIllusion 3.0.
